Flower delivery in Frýdek-Místek

Frýdek-Místek lies at the confluence of the Ostravice and Morávka rivers. The city is 16 km southeast of Ostrava. In 2025, it had about 53,600 residents.

Frýdek-Místek was formed on 1 January 1943 by the union of Silesian Frýdek and Moravian Místek. Místek is first mentioned in 1267. The castle in Frýdek, originally a Gothic castle of the Dukes of Teschen, now houses the Museum of the Beskids, with exhibitions on the Beskids and the city. The Baroque pilgrimage Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Frýdek was completed in 1777, and its grounds were designated a national cultural monument in 2018.
